"MOOV NOW" is a smart wearable device designed by ian yen which could give you experience more than a normal wearable track. Moov Now's big twist is that does a bit more than just track your simple movements and sleep patterns. Common fitness trackers can give you a good approximation of how far you're running, what your heart rate is, where you ran on your route, and other rudimentary bits of data. Moov Now's design gives it a spatial awareness. Its built-in accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer work together to track all of the movement that your arm (or leg) makes within five different sports: running, cardio boxing, cycling, swimming, and bodyweights.
Moov is an artificially intelligent coaching fitness device that provides specifically designed training programs for multiple sports and physical activities. Like a real coach, Moov will analyze your biomechanics during exercise and provide you with real-time AI powered feedback to maximize your every workout and help prevent injuries resulting from improper form.
in terms of design, ian yen tried to give it a dynamic character through the distribution pattern and its resized holes based on the distance. user could feel the motion of the holes with different perspective during their sport. The pattern of holes reduce the contact area between the skin and band to reach the cooling ventilation. in the future design will provide a greater variety of choices of the strap therefore users can pick and chose according to the occasion and preferences.
